Ms. Sills is “not a bug, but a feature.” The purpose of the system is to keep people like her - those with the right appearance, unquestionably loyal to the regime - positions of authority, and to reward them with money, social privilege, and opportunities for theft.

Yet the “School of No” had a library in shambles, a nurse with no office, no Common Core math or reading books, first-grade special-ed students without a qualified teacher and no payroll secretary to keep the books.
She rattled off some recent flicks: “Underdog,” “Fat Albert,” a basketball movie and one about the Jamaican bobsled team. Sometimes they watched the first half of a movie one day, and the rest the next day. It’s all a blur.
“It was so many movies, I can’t remember which day I watched what,” she said. “Sometimes I went to sleep or just sat there and played with my hair.
“One movie had curses and kissing in it. I asked the teacher if she could change it. She told me to sit down. She was just playing with her phone.”
That was under Bloomberg. You’ll see, things will be different now.

Wonder how many of Cuomo’s children, nieces and nephews, cousins go to government schools.
I’ll bet the NY city principals have a union that limits “interference for incompetence” by the employers.
She was a “graduate” of some kind of DOE program obviously aimed at getting more blacks into principalships (qualified or not). So she’s a minority by profession, and not only that, but a special bureaucrat-trained professional minority.
Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s politically connected in some way. She got away with things that were so blatant, even to the point of being allowed to ignore a lawsuit filed by parents whose child was sexually assaulted at the school, that she must have more than just the race card.
Schools like that are needed.
Else, how would the Obamadork have received a degree?
We all know he is demonstrably stupid.
Right you are. This school is perfect manifestation of the liberal education system taken to its ultimate ends. While this school may be the best in class, many other schools deserve honorable mention and enjoy the same features. That's what corrupt liberal government produces, and where there is no credible political opposition, this sort of product will grow and fester until it consumes society.
This is about government rot which now extends from the schoolhouse to the White House. Unfortunately, our members of Congress are unwilling to do anything about it. Their lucrative positions on the gravy train are more important than what happens to a few little dark children in Queens.
They don’t answer because Sills is an affirmative action hire and her only “qualification” is her skin color.
When you read the article and see just how many people were contacted and did nothing at all for years, probably because they too are incompetent or afraid of being called racist i’d say parents at that school have all the lawsuits in the world at their disposal.
Stories like this make me ill. Having attended public school in NYC i can tell you that this stuff didn’t happen in the past. When we install quotas we install mediocrity and worse.

Conservative’s predictions regarding affirmative action were waaay too optimistic.
The “woman” a intellectual and social degenerate. Any parent who sends their child to her school is abusing them. Affirmative action strikes again...and again...and again.
