Man Posts On Facebook About “Police State” And Guess Who Shows Up?

We use Facebook for many things, some of us use it for posting pictures of our food, others for posting the infamous “selfie”, and some of us to vent our frustrations with thegovernment and politics as a whole. No matter the reason you use Facebook, you expect to be able to post just about anything you want(aside from death threats to the President) without being hassled since our right to free speech is protected.

Well that’s not the experience Blaine Cooper from Humboldt, AZ had. The 34 year old posted a rant on Facebook showing his frustration with the country and within 24 hours he was contacted by the police and FBI. On August 23, Officer Jason Kaufman of the Prescott Valley Police Department contacted Cooper and told him that he needed to come down to the station for questioning with the FBI. He complied and the interview, with federal agents present the whole time, lasted 45 minutes then Cooper was released after it was determined he wasn’t a threat.

“They had every Facebook post I had ever made in a huge file, along with all my wife’s information, and parent’s information,”

Cooper stated that complying with the request for an interview saved him from having his home raided by the Feds, and that by complying he was “diffusing the situation”, according to police who said his home may have been raided otherwise.

Never speak to the FBI...even if they ask nicely. And if pressed remember don’t say anything without a lawyer.
They are not your friend......

Should he have had to comply with coming to the station to be questioned to begin with?

I don’t think his being asked to come in for questioning had anything to do with gathering information. They already knew everything they needed to about him. If he was a true threat, they would have knocked down his door one night. No, I think that little “come down to the station” tactic was just to let him know his place.

Posting rants on Facebook maybe not such a great idea.

If you have a FB account, close it. If you don’t, never start one. Not even MySpace or any social networking site. Even LinkedIn, a professional networking site.

Posting on Facebook IS speaking with the FBI. Facebook is a 'false storefront' operated by the regime, just like Google.

Here's a visual pictorial of Facebook (See hole in ground):

The 1933 to 1939 pre-war years were strange for the average law-abiding German. There was prosperity and high employment, yet everyone lived in secret fear of a visit by the Gestapo. People pretented not to notice their neighbors suddenly just gone.

If the police show up at your door for no reason, answer their questions nicely. Do not invite them in. If they ask to come in, politely decline and tell them you can answer what they want right there.

At the first hint that they suspect YOU of anything, stop answering questions. Tell them you are uncomfortable answering any more of their questions and will only do so with a lawyer present.

Nothing to do about asking questions.

This is pure federal intimidation.

Go along, get along, don’t question the status quo, or the feds will show up at the “wrong” address, and shoot you and your dogs. Got that?

Looks like it was a little more involved than a Facebook post.

a video of a townhall meeting that apparently took place sometime in September, in which Marine Blaine Cooper called out John McCain on his treason for aiding and abetting the enemy of the United States.

It seems like our political system has really gone down the crapper in the last ten years or so. I was not in favor of the patriot act, because I knew it would be abused by democrats. There is no respect for the taxpayer anymore and no consideration for how bad laws impact freedom. They just pass laws to make it look like they’re doing something.

And there is a huge difference between being asked to come down and being told he needed to come down...at that point I would argue it was a seizure...

Being harassed by the cops is no fun, admittedly.

But letting them scare you out of your constitutional rights is throwing your rights away.

People have died for those rights. The least we can do is exercise them in the face of bullies.
