Michelle Obama celebrated her 50th birthday with a celebrity-filled party having about 500 guests.
Ledisi opened the night and then handed the microphone to Beyonce, who performed with a full band for about 30 minutes, Us magazine reported.
John Legend personally sang “Happy Birthday” to the First Lady and Barack Obama acted as the evening emcee, giving a toast once the birthday cake was brought out.
Other celebrities in attendance included Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell, Samuel L. Jackson, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Mary J. Blige, Ashley Judd, Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson, Gayle King, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, and Steve Harvey.
Did she lip sync this performance too?

Did the Mooch get a few nips and tucks over there pre-party? I notice she is wearing a Sophie Loren type reddish wig these days, but haven’t seen any recent pictures of her mug.
That’s quite possible. I haven’t seen any pictures of her in some time (though I don’t necessarily look for them) - didn’t know she was now donning a Sophia Loren reddish wig. I did see an article on FR about her eyebrows :-)
What in the name of all things good does Ashley Judd have to do with anything??? Grooming that loon or what?
So thankful I tuned out all the noise this weekend.
