So, do I have it correct when I surmise that it’s the writer’s opinion that Candidate Poole may be another plant, as was Sarvis? I think that’s the crux of the article.

These people are “messing with Texas”.
But this is a GOP primary so it’s not analogous to Sarvis who was a GE spoiler.
