In his opening monologue today, Sean Hannity announced that he is moving out of New York City, Long Island and New York State altogether for maybe Florida or Texas.
Born and raised in New York, Hannity would follow other conservative stars like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck out of the Empire State because of high taxes, high regulation and lack of freedom.
At his income level, his average rate is probably not far below the marginal rate.

Quite true; look at North Carolina. Not picking on Hannity, as I doubt he will be part of this practice. But it is just another measure of the collective stupidity of the American people. Just like the college teaching assistants who backed 0bama, and now they have their hours cut because of 0bamacare. They want ham trees, candyland, 0bamaphones and the consequence free lifestyle. They just don't make the connection to reality when it bites them in the butt.

I’m glad for Sean and his family. He’ll be happy elsewhere and be able to hold on to his money. I believe his parents are deceased so he doesn’t have to look after them.
Can’t wait myself to get out of NJ. I live in a nice little town (Republican) but I just can’t stand the state government any more. But I have an elderly parent who comes from a family of extreme longevity...

I don’t blame him. That mobbed-up scumbag Cuomo has declared war on conservatives and told us we aren’t welcome in his state. I’ll keep that in mind when spending my tourist (fat chance) and consumer products dollars. FU, Cuomo.
