The first family visited the DC Central Kitchen as part of a Martin Luther King Day service project, where they prepared meals that will be distributed to shelters around the city.
The family prepared beef burritos alongside regular volunteers. President Obama complimented his younger daughter Sasha’s burrito technique as “outstanding” and said with a smile he was very proud of her.
The family chose the DC Central Kitchen because they are celebrating their 25th anniversary of taking local produce and leftover meals that they turn into 5,000 meals.

Good or not I wouldn’t eat anything that creep made. With his hands being a part of it’s preparation, the food would be contaminated.
Are they going to serve fried chicken and watermelon on Cinco de Mayo?
Kind of feel sorry for these girls. Dad is a dork who likely has never been there for them and Mom seems to be in a constant state of anger. Hopefully their Grandmother has her feet on the ground.
