Zactly. What we really need here is a plaintiff willing and able to go the distance. I have heard the baker is not pursuing his rights. Probably an economic decision. But it hurts the rest of us. Someone needs to talk him into going for it. Lots to work with there. I’d love to see the gay lobby playing defense for a change. Maybe even Rico. That would be a blast.
Yep. We need a conservative equivalent of the ACLU that will prosecute (or defend) these cases pro bono. The Thomas More Law Center has a great track record for defending conservative causes, but they’ve never taken on a homo case that I know of.
I’d be glad to contribute to such an organization.
