Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! Looks like the cold weather is back...
Yep. Just checked and it just dropped a degree from 19 to 18.
I remember when it was not unusual to have these lower temps every winter. I guess we’re back to ‘normal’ - meaning whatever the winters were like when we were growing up!
BTW it’s encouraging that more people are joining the group. Q&R are missed and have a ready audience when they get back.

Seems to have a lot of interesting programing including episodes of the Buck Commander show. Some were way before DD. I think they are better than DD.

NO delay...so kidlet is out the door. Being an amateur wx geek...me thinks totals will be a tad higher. System coming east seems to have slowed which can pick up more moisture over lakes (though this isn’t a lake effect storm).
Btw, the hoops & illogical loops the far left femme defenders of Wendy Davis are jumping thru to DEFEND her. It’s her XHusband fault for HIM talking to media; WarOnWomen; Abbott (running against her for TX GOV) DID this to smear her (yep...he made her “forget” sugar daddy cashed out his 401k for Harvard). Quinn would have a field day...let’s ALL remember the FemmeNazi intro w/Bella Abzug screeching...good times!
OH! I forgot to tell you that I watched some of the Pennsylvania Farm Show! I loved the “Sheep to Shawl” competition! I wonder if my county had a group competing in it.
I saw “Buck Commander” on the listings once or twice. Should have checked it out. Now I know where DD got their “Duck Commander”! lol!

Haven’t been following the Wendy Davis thing much. Stupid feminazis! OHHHHH yes! I remember Bella Abzug - she of the ridiculously large hats!

The farm show rocks! There is so much! We always watch the sheep to shawl. This year I wasn’t crazy about the winner but it ws still cool.
I even enjoy the fashion show. The show really brightens the winter.
I got a new computer for Christmas. Has the 8.0 OS. I HATE IT!! Anybody know if it’s possible to install the 7.0 OS instead. Why does Microsoft have to fix what ain’t broke? They should have stopped with XP or 7.0 Both easy to maneuver!
You can install a third party shell that gives you a normal desktop and start button. A. Morgan will probably know which is best.
FWIW mrs p6’s laptop came with 8 and she was worried but after a couple of weeks she loved it.

Tell him PolarVortex2.0 (last week of Jan thru SuperBowl weekend in Feb). Could really max out (scary due to coal power plant closures) grid. One of the Meteos I follow, Joe Bastardi is warning that the extended PV that is coming is like the impact (economic) of a hurricane w/effects spreading over 1/3 of Country.

Rose will fulfill her commitment to Conservative Tours. She does not make a promise without following through. Several listeners had already signed up for the tour before the show was cancelled but she felt it important to be there for them. She was able to work this out with all parties involved so as not to disappoint those that signed up. There is still lots of room for more people.
NOTE FROM ROSE: I just had dinner again the other night with my fellow travelers to France.
We forge the most amazing friendships on these trips. It’s as though we have all known each other for ever!
