You’ve either been fed the line or you’re feeding it.

The mantra that prohibition didn’t work ignores the facts. Sure there were problems inherent in prohibition, but they’re far outweighed by rampant drunkenness.
Maybe it’s a nice theory, that drug legalization will not increase use and maximize liberty. The reality is different, and quantifiable.
Obama agrees with you, but you drug pushers aren’t going to convince me.
Prohibition of ANY activity and substance desired by
humans has NEVER worked. It’s a waste of time energy
and resources. That is aside from the excuse it gives
evil politicians and petty bureaucrats to invade peoples lives and make them miserable.
The ONLY thing America got from Prohibition was thousands of
people dead from drinking cheap wood alcohol and organized crime. It was the profits from bootlegging that led petty
individual criminals to organize into groups to increase their profits from feeding the desire for a product that people want, will buy and will use regardless of any laws.
We saw that phenomenon with Capone et.al. and we see the same phenomenon with the cartels....all the badgemonkeys on the planet cannot stop the supply of desired goods...they can only destroy the lives of those they target with their efforts, along with many people who are just “collateral damage”.
You understand that is an opinion of the author in the link and like the famous saying goes: Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, no matter how ridiculous.
