Members of the University of Michigan Black Student Union said they would have to resort to “physical action” if a list of seven demands issued on Martin Luther King Day are not met within seven days,

Sounds like you’re the problem - it’s following you around.
More true than you know. Worked 30+ years for a LARGE film manufacturing company and they couldn't bend over fast enough to all the minority demands for raises, promotions, etc.
Despite all that "diversity" the company went bankrupt a couple of years ago.

We demand increased exposure of all documents within the Bentley (Historical) Library. There should be transparency about the university and its past dealings with race relations.

It appears they think there's something in the library that would prove that the University had done something in the past that justifies these people's grievances.

BTW, has there ever heretofore been a group of "oppressed" people in history, which as soon as they gained their freedom, did all they could to stick like leeches to their "oppressors"? That's more like the relationship between parasites and host, and considering the one-way redistribution of wealth and income in this country, I know clearly who is which.

Seconded. I’d be hard-pressed to control my impulse to bat such a person in their big mouth if they did that with my children, but I would control that. I’d stop at booting them from my house, with just enough time to gather their belongings from my front yard where I threw them. This is exactly the tactic the left uses in a broader way with other people’s children, going behind the backs of their own parents to encourage them to spit upon the principles their parents raised them to have. And in college, the parents get to pay for the “privilege” of having their children turned against them.

Meanwhile, my son and daughter were both turned down by Michigan, in spite of being valedictorian and salutatorian respectively at high school, and while both ended up at Purdue, neither gained even a single penny of scholarship money for all of their hard work. Both are now on the Dean’s List there by the way — and paying $45,000 per year each out of their own pockets (via student loans). ...of course, they don’t have minority status, so they don’t count.

The country's worn sackcloth and ashes long enough. It's time for blacks to stand on their own merits... period.

Jackson tries real hard to be like Ann Arbor and just can’t pull it off. They’re a blue collar town and should embrace it.
