This is al-Cherubim monastery on top of a mountain in al-Qalamoun region in Damascus countryside. Foreign- backed militants continuously attack the monastery coming from Rankous in an attempt to reach and take over Sednaya town in Damascus countryside. More than one hundred Takfiri militants from the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra front and brigades of the so-called Free Syrian Army were killed during an attack they launched on Sunday against the monastery. Machineguns, RPGs and other types of weapons were seized. Militants in Badda, Talfita and Rankous areas which surround Sednaya increased their mortar attacks on the town following their defeat. A shell hit a school while another fell in the vicinity of Saint George Monastery. The Syrian army responded with gunfire.
Prayers up for Christians and Syrian servicemen.
I’m pleased to see the Christians ridding civilization of these creeps. May they have much success.
The Syrian government army are slowly becoming the good guys
We need to keep the persecution of Christians in Muslim countries a permanent thread. Since few of our elected officials are taking any notice at all, it is important for us to keep their plight out in front so people know and can pray. Thanks for the post. This particular location in the video is in a particularly dangerous spot! WOW!
