Six South Florida couples who want to get married, but can't because they're gay, said Tuesday they're filing a lawsuit against the state seeking to overturn the Sunshine State's ban on same-sex marriage.

Ten of the 12 plaintiffs, along with the gay rights group Equality Florida and the National Center for Lesbian Rights, announced the filing of their case at a news conference at the Lesbian and Gay Victor Center in Miami Beach.

marriage requires consummation or did require consummation to be a valid contract since they can not consummate how can then enter into the contract as it is annulled. ITs funny that we’re consummation was required is now being removed as a requirement for marriage contract. so effective they change in law for the heterosexual because now if you get married and your and your spouse declines to have traditional sexual intercourse for potential reproduction you cannot annulled the marriage

I agree, so let’s fight it.

Knowledge is power and us patriots need to empower low-information voters with the Constitution's simple rules to fight gay marriage since the corrupt media, including Fx News, is not going to do it.

The reason that liberal judges get away with legislating from the bench is the following imo. Parents have not been making sure that their children are being taught the difference between legislative, executive and judicial powers.

Being "gay" has nothing to do with it - a husband is a man, and a wife is a woman. Two people of the same gender cannot enter into this union - it has noting to do with "bigotry", etc. - it simply is reality and language. They have the same right to enter into this union as anyone else with a member of the opposite gender.

It was never about equality or expanding “rights” - it is about taking rights away from others. Witness their behavior with the bakery owner, photographers, etc. If the business doesn’t want to cater to their “pretend” weddings, they don’t just leave them alone and take their money elsewhere and pay someone who will, no - they harass them out of business - want them discriminated against because they have different beliefs than their own.

“David and I are devoted to our children. We are a family in every way, except that Florida will not allow us to marry,” said Juan Carlos Rodriguez, of Davie. He and his partner, David Price, have been together for 17 years. “It pains David and me to be denied a basic safety net of legal protections.” During the eight years she’s been with Melanie Alenier, partner Vanessa Alenier said the Hollywood couple has “worked so hard to build and protect our family, but nothing can come close to matching the protections that marriage provides. Our family is in need of those protections just like other families. We want our son to understand that his family is secure and just as respected as any other family part of our community here in Florida.”

They like the so-called "protections" of marriage, but got into a relationship where it cannot exist - two men cannot be husband and wife, nor can two women be husband and wife. What is it they expect? It isn't Florida not allowing them to be married - it is reality and language. These children also do not have a mother and a father.

"....couples who want to get married, but can't because they're gay...."

Well, that's the definition of marriage. isn't it? Always has been, always will be, even if the Satanist Commies try to bastardize it. Seems to me the homos have three choices...either 1) give up their homosexual ways and go straight, in which case they can find someone of the opposite sex and get married, 2) find a beard and marry him/her/it, or 3) STFU and accept the fact that they're homos and can't get married. They made their bed, now they can have great, big, homo baby oil parties in it.

Of course, they won't choose any of the three, instead screaming like a bunch of little biyatches and forcing their aberrant and disgusting lifestyle on the rest of us. Unless, of course, we the majority find our spines and stand our ground...pun intended.

What a pant load. all it would take to get “a basic safety net of legal protections” is for them to march into any lawyer’s office and have each declared the other’s legal guardian with Powers of Attorney. Bada bing bada boom, finito. but it is not about that. It is all about destroying Christian culture.

Did you know that there is an article in the Constitution that allows the legislative branch to pass legislation and exempt it from judicial review?
