Good Point... Kind of like the WWII "Uncle Joe" propaganda in England and the US to make Stalin more palatable to the public.
I would also add that some adovacate defeat Iran/Shiite/Shia now and worry about al Qaeda later..

In the end Stalin was a lot more bloodthirsty than Hitler. both were monsters, but Stalin won the “who can kill more” competition
