I, too, was willing to overlook Elton’s personal life — long before this child was in the picture. What really did it for me was reading about the concert he did, several years back, as a fund-raiser for a group seeking the lowering of the age of consent in the UK.
My blood really boiled as I read the description of the dancers who were on stage during his performance. He used boys who were of age but who looked underage. They were dressed in uniforms meant to look like Boy Scout uniforms and were performing homo-erotic routines.
Check out the pedo-friendly musical “Billy Elliot” that he concocted with Tim Rice. I was taken to see this dreck in London about 10 years ago and was appalled by a “gay” child character. Then a Swan Lake scene featuring a half naked man and a male child. Then a newspaper interview in which Mr. John expressed an interest in taking care of all the male children who were playing Billy.
