What I like most about Ben Carson is that I never heard of him until his famous speech in front of Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast a while back. The real heroes in this country are those who carry themselves with dignity, pursue a life of virtue, and don't seek constant recognition for what they do.
There was a time when I might have hoped to see Dr. Carson run for public office, but it's become obvious to me that the American political scene is really beneath people like him.
but it's become obvious to me that the American political scene is really beneath people like him. Yep. Would rather see him outside the public office, where he can actually do some good.
In politics, he'd either become hamstrung, or corrupted by the system.
