As Americans prepare to march to the Supreme Court in subfreezing temperatures in todays March for Life, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) voiced his support.
“Every human life is a precious gift from God, and our law should protect innocent human life, Cruz said in a statement. Yet 41 years ago, the Supreme Courts Roe v. Wade decision overturned the Texas law that prohibited abortion on demand.
He lamented the “Fifty-six million boys and girls who never drew a breath of air. Poets and inventors, doctors and athletes, explorers and musicians, the world is far the poorer for their loss.
But Cruz also thanked those who are helping to protect life.
As we mourn the loss of millions of souls, we also commemorate the good work that citizens continue to do to fervently defend life. Beyond the thousands of marchers in Washington today, countless individuals are devoted to affirming life, to promoting adoption and to helping provide comfort and aid to new mothers in distress. Their efforts have continued to make significant steps towards valuing the dignity of each human life.

We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

Cruz: "Every Human Life Is a Precious Gift from God" Does that include democrats? Forgive me but I'm not having an easy time believing that we need more democrats and not fewer of them...
To: varmintman
There is no "Democrat gene". They get corrupted after birth by ignorant parents.
No pre-born human has ever committed an act worthy of captial punishment.

Have you ever seen the bumper sticker that says, "Aren't you glad your mother didn't have an abortion?"

Does that include democrats? Forgive me but I'm not having an easy time believing that we need more democrats and not fewer of them... Did Jesus die only for Republicans, or for conservatives, or [for that matter] Jews?
No! — Jesus's works were for the whole world, all of mankind. (see Jn 3:17)

Ted you’re the Man! If it wasn’t for you and Sarah I’d give up on American politics and head for my cave. Keep your principles, don’t become a RINO.

However we only had the liberal pro-abortion Willard. I think you are absolutely right; the Romney nomination, even as the party added "no exceptions, not even rape and incest" to its party-planks shows just how much they really intend to push for [any of] those planks.

I will begin to worry if the RAT machine treats Cruz like Boehner.
Then we'll know we're being played. I pray we are not.

There is no "Democrat gene". Sorry, I'm not going to be the easiest person to convince of that. They all have the same goofy look about them.
