"Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven who were Columbia University professors. (And it just so happened that the president went to Columbia.)"

What difference does it make? I doubt that Obama's allegiance to Columbia University has anything to do with him using this strategy. More notable is the fact that Cloward-Piven’s early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. “Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules,” Alinsky wrote in his 1989 book Rules for Radicals. Obama spent his entire youth taking classes and later teaching workshops on Alinsky’s methods. He worked hard to follow Alinsky’s rule of “blending in”. It was Alinsky who taught that you can say what you have to say to get over the hump, but once you’re over the hump, you do whatever you want to do. In other words, it’s okay to present yourself as something moderate, even centrist, for the purposes of securing power. Once you’ve secured that power it is perfectly acceptable to revert to who (and what) you really are. Precisely.

In a sane society, Alinsky & Cloward & Piven et al would have been hung by their neighbors the moment they began molesting the mush/minds of their children.
