It’s not feminization, it’s Super Bowl hype with 2 teams that don’t give bulletin board material. This is going to be a very dry run to the final game, neither team is going to say anything controversial, everybody is going to say how good the other team is, how much they respect them, how they’re going to have to play at a high level to win. Sherman’s rant will be the last “interesting” thing said this season, so the media will keep playing it up because the lack of interesting things happening doesn’t lessen the time or column inches they’re required to devote to the game.

The playoffs and superbowl are just another useful opportunity. The intent, however has been declared for at least a year. I don't believe this "interview" was an accident. The sideline babe was told to get Sherman right after the game because he was known to be volitile, and it was known that there was this personal battle going on between him and Crabtree. It was a guaranteed fireball, and the smug little acid-dolly knew it when she stuck the mic in his face - especially given the play he just made, and why they came at him with that play at that time.
Here's the declared intent of the enemy: Chicago Times: "It's time to ban high school football"
