One thing that is rarely stated around these parts, is that repeating "single payer" like a daily religious mantra, will only help to ensure that it becomes reality. A self-fulfilling prophecy, if you will.
If every Freeper posted, "over my dead body!", there's a strong chance it would go the other way. You simply can't win when half your team chants, "we're doomed", all day and night.

Also, when this thing fails, who’s going to trust the gov’t to fix it with even more government? I can see that working if there was a slow fail, as others have said: Say, over a 5-10 year period. A major collapse by 2014 would pan out much differently, IMO.
Agree but just how is this beast going to be stopped when there is nobody powerful enough or willing to do so? The people certainly aren’t as we’ve seen already. Nor Congress.
In order for what you say to happen there has to be a willingness to do more than grumble and complain about it. I don’t see that happening or evidence that it will...if you know something then please give me reason to think this even can be stopped.....how?
