The president and CEO of a Catholic school in Seattle has resigned in the wake of its recent dismissal of a gay vice-principal.
Sister Mary Tracy's departure was announced by Eastside Catholic high school’s board of trustees in an email on Tuesday evening. “Sister Mary came to this decision after much prayer and reflection. For Sister Mary it was a difficult but necessary decision so that a new leader can be brought in to ensure the entire Eastside Catholic community is moving forward on a positive path.”

I would suggest that removing a pervert from a position of control over children is a positive path.........
It seems like for a long time, the Catholics of Washington have been going along this “positive path.” Out the door of the Church.
Sister’s vocation is to provide proper Catholic formation to the children in her care, so that’s her purpose
She has pressure from parents, and, I suspect, the government, from whom they might take funds
There are some Catholic schools which accept funding from the govt (parochial) and some which choose not to do so (private).
Accepting govt funding from govt necessitates their accepting govt parameters on curriculum, and, staffing rules. So, thsts what’s probably going on here
The Catholic Church certainly accepts gays and would not promote discrimination based on that, per se, the factor they would advise against is homosexual behavior and indoctrination. In other words, its not the school s business to be aware of a teachers’ sex life, it is up to the teacher to keep that private in every way, just as any other behavior in acceptible in church doctrine, as the position of teaching kids holds a responsibility of setting an example even in private life. They can go do research or get an accounting job if tgey don’t like to have to be a publically moral person
The other fallacy in the article, and can’t a journalist, not to mention a self avowed catholic just once, look something up in the guide? It’s written in English. The fallacy I refer to is the garbage tgey insert in order to confuse this unecessarily legnthy article and that is, divorcees cannot be in communion with the church and that they are also even wit cohabiting unmarfied couples. They certainly are not.

Divorce is not evil nor sinful. When a catholic is married it has to be matrimony otherwise it is adulterous. The church does not say that about people of other faiths, only for Catholics, the same way Jews don’t say that others are singul if they don’t eat kosher
In the case of divorce, the marriage is still valid in the church, unless the church investigates by request to determine if it never was valid, in which case an annulment is granted. Corruption of actions of the parties involved is another subject, these are the rules. After that the teacher in this case is divorced and single, as far as the church is concerned and when that teacher abides by church teaching, being an example of chastity awaiting proper procedure, can be a very good example to children who don’t want to know anything about that teachers life, and shouldn’t anyway
Cohabitation, likewise, is, in fact, the new view of marriage notwithstanding, is adultery. It doesn’t matter how many irreverent and brainwashing commercials, TV situation comedies, movies or extended family members push for tge opposite
A teacher in a catholic school cannot properly be a part of a child’s formation, if living with someone in a sex relationship, oracles it known to the kids they are living in an adulterous stuation
A gay who is living like they are married outside the church likewise cannot properly form children who will be aware of ge situation

A powerful, well-financed homosexual lobby has managed to distract the public, even Catholics, about what homosexuals and homosexuality is about: the adoption of an identity defined by engaging in sodomy. Amazingly, they have created a protected class based on the insertion of the penis into the anus. Without that act (or other acts of sodomy), there is no homosexuality, just close friends.
There has never been a law against close friends, two people of the same sex who love one another. The issue is the sick, degrading, often dangerous, self-gratuitous acts that those individuals adopt.
But no one talks about that.
