A U.S. newspaper conglomerate has considered building state-by-state databases of people who have the right to carry concealed firearms.
Civitas Media, which owns 88 newspapers in 12 states and more than 100 total publications, is planning to use public records requests to build their databases, according to an internal Civitas email obtained by the Buckeye Firearms Association in Ohio.

I searched but didn't find any other postings related to this.
Perhaps Mr. Jim Lawitz wouldn't mind if his personal information and those of his employees were posted in an online database.

Fight fire with fire.
Conservatives should post a list of registered Democrats (in states that require party affiliation) and identify it as a list of wusses who probably don’t own guns to make things easier for thieves, etc. who want easy targets.

And direct action should attend to that information accordingly.

Civitas Media newspapers are easily identified on their web page.
In Missouri, the Sedalia Democrat is a Civitas paper...

How about compiling a list of anyone who has AIDS? That would actually be beneficial.

How about a database of addresses for liberal reporters?

Newspaper Conglomerate Considers Database of Gun OwnersThere is only one reason to do this, and it isn't just for the harassment of law abiding citizens.

The suggestion that they won't publish rings a bit hollow. Why would a newspaper do research if not for future publication ?

Posting them on billboards, “less advantaged” neighborhoods, would be more effective.

Perhaps Mr. Jim Lawitz wouldn't mind if his personal information and those of his employees were posted in an online database.Without too much effort, I have just found the address, phone numbers and other personal information about Civitas Media's president, Michael Bush (also his wife and at least one of his grown kids).
You can find a lot of people's addresses and relatives online.
I have even been able to find MSNBC star Chris Matthews' home address online.
And I have found them all doing free searches on Google. And for a few bucks, you can get a lot more info.
