A U.S. newspaper conglomerate has considered building state-by-state databases of people who have the right to carry concealed firearms.
Civitas Media, which owns 88 newspapers in 12 states and more than 100 total publications, is planning to use public records requests to build their databases, according to an internal Civitas email obtained by the Buckeye Firearms Association in Ohio.

How about compiling a list of anyone who has AIDS? That would actually be beneficial.

Fat chance.
“They” are allowed to work in kitchen areas of private/public facilities,
AND
Basically even have it so if they are in an accident and EMS/Police put on gloves it is considered ‘disrespectful’ and, naturally, suable.
The lawyers have made it so it is impossible for the ‘average Joe’ to assist in a traffic accident, break up an armed robbery as we are getting closer to YOU or YOUR FAMILY have to be in personal danger even the ‘Knock Out Gangster’ are shooting proof as (if interpret the way ‘they’ want it) once they hit you and run away, “You are no longer in danger”
The ONLY chance you have at ‘shooting’ one of the MF’s is if he/she hangs around to ‘kick you’ or do further damage and you shoot him in the act.
And if someone dies due to the information publically shared...
The sherrif of my county in NC sent out letters to all CCW holders that he WILL NOT give out that information.
And he’s a (bluedog) democrat.
88 newspapers? That’s only one per county here in Ohio. You may have saved someone some ammo and messes to clean up. Just wondering Mr. Lawitz, how do you feel about wetbacks?
The media is the very first.
“If Lawitz goes through with this, his house & directions to it will be posted on the internet within the hour.”
Why wait? Do it now with every one of his employees. They will complain and turn on their employer.
Pre-emptive strikes is how you beat rats.
Excellent point!
Better to publish the list of Civitas papers in every state.
They live and die based on their advertisers’ money.
The merchants should be made aware...
These tools, can’t even get the picture right to go with their story. That man appears to be openly carrying.
Time to get a roster of all of their employees, complete with address, phone number(s), relatives and relatives relatives.
Yep, and it is not hard to do.

You could threaten to publish the names and salaries of top gov’t employees.....those who make over 50,000 dollars.
And as someone already suggested, voters names and addresses are public info. Publish the Dems
This indirectly raises another point.
Several federal government agencies are obviously trying to compile databases of gun owners, despite this generally being unlawful. Once conservatives control congress and hopefully the office of the POTUS, there needs to be a systematic purge, not just of these databases, but of those individuals involved in compiling them.
With intent to criminally prosecute them.
While the Republicans foolishly agree to accept such horrors, on the grounds that *they* can use them wisely or to a good purpose. The truth is that evil begets only evil. They can no more use a malignant tumor for some “good” purpose than can anyone else.
It needs to be gone, every bit of it.
Everyone in Arizona has the right to carry concealed. Does that make it easy for them to build their “database” or pointless.
These bastards need to fear going to work.
“How about compiling a list of anyone who has AIDS? That would actually be beneficial.”
As unsecure as the Obamacare website is, that might not be hard to do.
“What difference does it make?” If you have a CCL your already on the LEO’s list so why shouldn’t everyone else know too? And those background checks, the government erases those (wink, wink, nod, nod).
Civitas translates as subject in context. Very appropriate for a commie rag.
