While I find Mr. Harper to be a little left leaning, he has to be, to govern a country that has, at least for the last 50 years, been more left leaning than the US. That said, he stll seems a little more conservative than the Dhimmis and RINOs that seem to run Washington, DCCCP.
It is ironic that 125 years ago, Canada was a more Christian country than the US, at least when measured by declared faith. Unfortunately, we picked up that European disease, socialist secularism, sooner than the US did. I can only hope that the pendulum in both this country and the US begins to swing back toward Christianity.
