I haven’t been following this, how solid were the charges/evidence?
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service arrested him, having to do with material he either received or sent via regular mail or both.
Now he’s killed himself.
Alexander fired him and replaced him almost immediately.
I would say “strong”.
As solid a trail as a government with unlimited funds and malice can "find" no doubt.
Who knows? The charges might even have been true, in the older sense of the word, the one that used to mean what did actually happen, not the current one which means what the government says actually happened...
