I do not think He is very happy with us, and if you know your Bible, there's not much reason to think mercy is in the cards.
Two things will happen. God has to break her hardened heart and then we must come out of her.

God saved the nation when it was young. I’d bet He hopes that some of those to whom He gave so much might today rise and save it themselves.
