I am old enough to remember 3 cent stamps and penny post cards. I also had lunch with Ben Franklin. I paid.

the REAL United States Post Office was the ONLY department of our government that actually generated a profit. Those profit dollars went into the general fund. Now look at what we have. Speaks volumes.

The Postal Service made $600 million on operations this past year. The losses stem from the $5 billion annual payments Congress requires the USPS to make for the funding of future employees' health care. Your "REAL" Post Office didn't have to make those payments.
