Obama Donor Picked for Ambassador to Norway Fumbles Basic Questions About Norway
Obama bundler raised $500,000 for the 2012 cycle. Obama's presidency has been built on lies, apparently his followers are good at it also. The next US ambassador to Norway, George Tsunis bundled $500,000 for President Obama in 2012, apparently knows nothing about Norway.
Questioned by Senator John McCain about the anti-immigration Progress Party, which has now joined the ruling coalition, Tsunis had no idea what McCain was talking about.
McCain asked for his thoughts; Tsunis replied, You get some fringe elements that have a a microphone and spew their hatred. And I will tell you Norway has been very quick to denounce them.
That is untrue. They are part of the ruling coalition, as McCain quickly pointed out.

All there really is to know about Norway is that it’s overrun with muzzies, PC, & lutefisk.
A far cry from when Monty Python saluted it with “Norway: Land of Giants”.
Wonder if he speaks Norway?
Well, the Hawaiian/Kenyan/Indonesian “man of the world” with no details about any country in the world, doesn’t want anyone to upstage him, now does he?
Yes, exactly. It’s like all the protocol people left DC when Bush did. But for all his many failings I don’t remember Clinton making international gaffes like Obama has. (Except that time he kept Arafat waiting while he was diddling with Monica, but who cares about Arafat?) Did the Obama people kick them all out and replace them with chi-town homies?
You can see Alaska from there can’t you?
Yes he’s a know nothing given a do-nothing anachronistic job but he was prepped by the same shadowy coaches who work with Clinton, Sebelius, Tavenner, Holder et al.
McCain or anyone else could trip up those individuals as easily as he did this boob but that this boob is viewed as expendable by both parties.
And so he does have a purpose, namely to show what a pitiful pantomime other more important testimonies are when they reveal nothing.
And still applicable in oh-so-many situations, today!
Timeless. :)
Ambassadoring is a nice gig. My cousin was an ambassador once. He told me that chicks dig ambassadors. Can’t beat that!
How’s come this lib can contribute 500k to dims and he gets nominated for an ambassadorship while Denesh contributes 20k to the pubbies nah is going to jail?
how much is an Ambassadorship to South Korea?
Ambassadorships can be a combination of study/training and on-the-job training. The big problem is that none od Odumbo’s selections for high posts have the maturity/sense of responsibility/professionalism to actually exert themselves by pushing a learning curve to allow them to be competent.
Tsk tsk silly rabbit, because he is a democrat and Denesh is not.
Well you have to figure President Zero has about as much qualifications to be President as this guy has to be Ambassador. It’s zero appointing a zero. I mean what did Obama do before becoming President? He made phone calls. That’s it. Basically he was a telemarketer which is like making a McDonalds cashier President of the United states. Oh, and then you have to consider that to date the public hasn’t seen one shred of evidence this guy has ever gone to school. So for all we know, we could have a guy with a 3rd grade education running the country. And then people wonder why everything has gone to hell.
The Progress Party (Frp) would like President Barack Obama to apologize after the future Ambassador to Norway made stark remarks about the Progress Party in a Congress hearing.
George James Tsunis, future Ambassador to Norway and one of Obamas biggest financial supporters during the election campaign, was tested on his knowledge about Norway in a recent Congress hearing. However, his answers revealed that his knowledge of his new country of residence was minimal.
Yet again, the Progress Party was described as an ultra-conservative party.
The Progress Party's spokesperson for Justice Policy, Jan Arild Ellingsen, says that he feels very provoked by Tsuni, the candidate that Obama nominated to be the new Ambassador to Norway.
"I actually expect the American President to get involved and offer an apology to the Progress Party and Norway. This way of labeling us is not acceptable," says Ellingsen.
In the hearing, Tsunis referred to Norway's "president," and he indicated that the Progress Party is "spewing out their hatred." He also said that Norway has denounced the Progress Party, and must have missed the fact that the party is in government.
The Congress Hearing is part of the process towards accepting the candidates that Obama has nominated for Ambassador positions abroad.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Børge Brende (the Conservative Party/Høyre) is not as critical as Ellingsen, but tells TV2 that the new ambassador is welcome in the Kingdom of Norway.
Yes. I should have included a /s.
Ah, more “smart” diplomacy.
Mastered in Austrian in communisty college.
Well he does work for a Quisling.
