Paris (AFP) - French President Francois Hollande on Saturday told AFP he has split with his longstanding partner Valerie Trierweiler after his affair with an actress nearly 20 years his junior.
The announcement came after a day of rumours in the French media that Hollande would formally announce the rupture on Saturday, on the eve of a visit by Trierweiler to India for charity work.
Saying he was speaking as a private individual and not as head of state as the matter concerned his private life, Hollande told AFP over the phone: "I wish to make it known that I have ended my partnership with Valerie Trierweiler."

This is one frog (pardon the pun) who never made handsome prince. Valerie is moving in to Hollande’s “middle class” apartment in Paris on her return from Mumbai. I suspect he gave her the apartment and a hunk of cash to avoid her getting a book deal. I imagine the prior long term mistress, with the kiddies, must be having the last laugh at both of them.

Its hard to say. On one level, it’s anyone you schtup or sodomize. OTOH, it can be a sex partner that you occupy a home with for any length of time.
Anyway, they say that it’s superior to marriage for some reason.
Is it me or has the MSM STOPPED using the terms, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, spouse, and STARTED using the word PARTNER for everything. Heterosexual or lgbt gets the same term. MSM mainstreaming PARTNER, like never before.
