I thought they already fixed that aging infrastructure problem with the hundreds of billions of "stimulus" money. I guess enough of it didn't make it out of the grubby hands of the unions, political cronies, and green businesses owned by Democrat bundlers to actually fix anything.

I guess the answer is to spend more. After all, it's only free government money.

If a private utility is responsible for the gas mains, this is surprising. If the fedgov or a municipal utility is in charge, no surprise.
