One puzzle. Savage has made multiple references to Hannity's fund raising for worthy causes; it seemed to me that each time Savage suggested crimnal wrong doing by Hannity.

That goes beyond criticsm of a public figure IMO. If Hannity does not sue Savage are his accusations (if I heard Savage right) valid?

He is all in for the troops, and despite the complaints of him being boring and redundant, that redundancy has kept things on the radar that most have long forgotten. No one talks about Benghazi, or Fast and Furious more than he does.

I much prefer Greta Van Susten and Kelly. Hannity is okay but lacks the intellectual acumen of Greta and Kelly. His ability to ask penetrating questions of liberal guests is sad. Instead he launches into a preset set of talking points. Orilley is a pompous ass.

In relation to Orilley he will interview Obama during the Super Bowl weekend. Oreilley does have the intellectual acumen to rip Obama apart. He will not do this because Obama would never ever enter an interview without knowing what questions will be asked and more importantly the questions that are forbidden to be asked. If this interview goes as I suspect, Orilley has become a mouth piece for Obama. I suggest we send heavy duty carbon fiber knee pads.

Savage is a moon bat not worthy of your time.

I was a bit harsh on Hannity. I would also like to mention that his support for the troops and wounded warriors is the absolute 100% the best. He is a great man doing great things for our military. He is a patriot. Charlie Daniels is also right up there with Shane Hannity.

Hannity is one of the good guys and to be admired.

Listened to Savage the other day. He was spewing venom at Hannity. It turned me off! Hannity is boring, but not nasty like Savage.

Maybe Sarah Palin can become a talk show host. I think she would be better than Savage or Hannity.

“if you ever listened to both shows, The Savage Nation is much more listenable than Hannity from an entertainment standpoint. I don’t agree with either of them much, if at all. but if I had to choose which show to listen to if these were the only two out there, Savage takes it.

As a local host he didn't really compete against KSFO fellow hosts claiming instead that he alone was responsible for KSFO's success.

If I recall correctly, Savage started a feud with Jim Eason, who had the show just prior to his. Those 1 minute hand-off segments weren't Eason's favorite things, and eventually Eason left the station.

Also, when Savage was starting out at KSFO, they already had a strong line-up.

Lee Rodgers and Melanie Morgan ruled the morning, then I jumped to KNBR to listen to Limbaugh, Geoff Metcalf had the noon-2 slot, Eason from 2-4, then Savage from 4-7. I think O'Reilly eventually was on KSFO from 9-12.

Then Limbaugh left KNBR for KSFO from 9-12. Metcalf got replaced by Laura Schlessinger, Savage started his double shift doing his national show from noon-3, then his KSFO show from 3-6.

Savage left KSFO for 910 and Brian Sussman got the 4-7 slot. Hannity started from noon-3.

This is all from memory, so I'm sure I'm missing a few things. But the point is that Savage was the last thing that was responsible for KSFO's success.

The market to watch is Chicago. Savage has taken Hannity’s old time slot 6-9 on WLS am 890 followed by Levin who when not bumped by Notre Dame games is delayedcast 9-midnight.

While Hannity has moved over to WIND am560 in his live time slot 3-6pm followed by a local host ex- congressman Joe Walsh. I know Joe is beating the pants off of Savage there.

The only two things I agree with the big weenie head is his positions on Maryjaweena and Liberalism is a mental disorder. Which remain consistant. He took off on Zimmerman and defended what was happening to him as deserved; prior, during, and after the trial claiming conspiracy. Cam’t stand him. He’s a phoney working the system.

Savage is too angry for my taste. Hannity doesn’t let people talk when he asks them questions and I turn him off. I like Levin and Ingraham.

There is no competition for me between Sean and Mike. Michael Savage RULES!

You get little or no perceptive, thought provoking analysis from Sean Hannity. You do get yelling contests instead of rational and ordered discussion from Sean's "guests." I do listen to him on occasion, but I get bored with Hannity and, I might add, Rush.

The analysis of Savage is often unique, penetrating, and unsparing and unheard on Hannity and Rush. Savage tells you what he thinks and why. His range of discourse is wide and engaging. There is no real contest on the longer run.

Spend very little time listening to either of these hosts. I’ve been listening to pod casts of different shows and this has been an enjoyable alternative to Romney\Rove promotions and meatball recipes from the left coast.
