Representative Sinicki criticized for Facebook posts during Governor's speech

MADISON, Wis. (WSAU) -- A Wisconsin lawmaker is learning the hard way that posting comments online means everyone can see them, and that was a bit embarrassing for Democratic Representative Christine Sinicki of Milwaukee.

Sinicki really didn’t want to be in the Assembly chamber during the Governor’s State of The State speech, and she made that clear posting to her Facebook page while the Governor spoke. As Governor Scott Walker spoke, Sinicki typed, “OMG...this speech is so full of s*it. Wish I could get up and walk out.” and “Bottom line..the rich get richer and the poor and middle class continue to get kicked in the butt.” She continued with, “When are we going to have a real discussion about the cuts to education, throwing people off of unemployment insurance or cutting medical benefits?”

Well, Sinicki, when people like you are voted out of office for your cheating, lying and stealing. You could care less what the people think and you know it. Why are you even living in America? Maybe another country might suit your needs?

“When a sales clerk answers the cell phone I just either keep talking or, if in my mind they have spent enough time, just walk away.”

Customers are equally as RUDE. When I’m helping someone in my store and their phone rings and they answer it, I just walk away. If they need me later, I just tell them I was, ‘giving them some privacy as it must’ve been a VERY important call!’ They’ll usually respond, ‘Nah, just my sister.’ *Rolleyes*

What I’d REALLY like to do is punch them in the throat, throw their phone to the floor and stomp on it, LOL!

Oh, man. I’ve been in Retail waaaaaaaaaaay too long, LOL!

Sorry, I definitely was not meaning to give customers a ‘ride’ either.

However this is NOT a tit for tat game here.

Definitely if you are ‘WAITING ON and/or ASSISTING’ me and I answer the phone without so much as a howdydo, definitely, walk away, you may lose the sale but.....

However your JOB is to sell me—you should give it 100% till you either see the sale is going nowhere or has been completed. That is what you signed on for.
I may be rude by being on the phone BUT you are not paying attention to your job.

I can understand stores having a ‘no cell phone’ rule in the check out line BUT the only way it can be enforced is to ignore the person on the phone and go to the next customer...and that could get dicey.... What with the no shoes/no shirts, no weapons, no cell phones, no smoking etc signage, the clerk at the local 7/11 is also forced into the role as ‘hall monitor’ but will get in ‘trouble’ should he try to enforce one of those signs.....

Oh, don’t worry about my ‘sales techniques,’ LOL! I have plenty of customer traffic so I just go on to the next person who needs help that isn’t GLUED to their phone. :)
