Rand Paul Blasts Bill Clinton on Lewinsky
Politico ^ | Sunday, January 26, 2014 | Kevin Cirilli

Posted on 01/26/2014 8:17:56 AM PST by kristinn

Sen. Rand Paul blasted former President Bill Clinton on Sunday, saying that if Democrats want to hit Republicans for the "War on Women" they should take a look at the former president's "predatory behavior" against Monica Lewinsky.

"The Democrats -- one of their big issues is they've concocted this, 'Republicans are committing a war on women,'" Kentucky Republican said on NBC's "Meet The Press." "One of the work place laws and rules that I think are good is that bosses shouldn't prey on young interns in their office. I think really the media seems to have given President Clinton a pass on this. He took advantage of a girl that was 20-years-old and an intern in his office. There is no excuse for that and that is predatory behavior."

"It should be something we shouldn't want to associate with people who would take advantage of a young girl. This isn't having an affair -- this isn't me saying, 'Oh, he's had an affair. We shouldn't talk to him.' Someone who takes advantage of a young girl in their office -- I mean really, and then they have the gall to stand up and say that Republicans are having a war on women? So yes, I think it's a factor. Now it's not Hillary's fault. But it is a factor in judging Bill Clinton in history."

“Lewinsky was probably just as predatory (if not moreso) than Clinton.”

He was her manager. He should have explained to her that it was inappropriate. If it happened again, he could have fired her. You know, just like in the ENTIRE REST OF THE COUNTRY UNDER FEDERAL LAW.

Monica was a White House intern at the same time as Huma Abedin. Huma was attending GWU in DC.
I’ve always wondered if each one was doing half of the POTUS couple.
Back in the Lewinsky years, Huma had not made the headlines yet.

Lewinsky has Linda Tripp to thank for telling her to save the dress, stain and all.

And the media crucified Tripp for "ratting on a friend."

Geraldo was one of the worst critics of Tripp. But Linda saved Lewinsky's life.

We’ll have to agree to disagree. The status quo ante was preferable, imho, to handing Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer another lever to harass the productive with.

Businesses that allow employees to treat other employees in ways that do not advance the business goals of the company are punished in the marketplace.

Lots of women lead successful careers in business before anyone heard of Betty Freidan. Advances in technology and changes in fertility and abortion made the option available to ever more women. Most young people are surprised to find out that world doesn’t prize them as highly as they believe they should be. When these young people are women (or blacks or gays), it is easy to attribute their difficulties to a conspiracy that exists only in their own minds. That men like to pursue women should come as no surprise to anyone who was not raised in convent.

At last a Republican with balls said this on national television. The Republicans have been a gutless, spineless bunch of wimps since the death of Lee Atwater.

It’s simply remarkable that one of the left’s biggest icons is a sexual predator and a rapist. It makes the “war-on-women” charge positively laughable.

It wasn’t Hillary’s fault. It was a “vast right wing conspiracy.” Hillary told us herself.

Of all the important things he said during the interview, and this idiot topic is the focus?

Shame on the pundits.

Worse than that:
Once the Democrats captured the national and local media outlets (e.g., Nina Burleigh) the game was done.
Remember trooper gate; Bank Loans, Bill’s Little Rock mistress; Clinton Negro White House Pimp fixing Lewinsky with a job, Poor Juanita Broderick, Poor little “Trailer Trash” who ultimately brought him down a peg; Clinton selling off pardons; renting the Lincoln Bedroom; even a special prosecutor was damned! None of this made any difference and then last Week Barbara Bush says she likes Him????!!!!
We are in a death spiral.

Too bad Chandra Levy didn’t save some clothes from one of her trysts with Condit.

Funny thing is that Huma Abedin was an intern in the White House at the same time Monica Lewinsky was an intern in the White House in 1996.

RICHARD DURBIN — “You’ve got to be honest about it, though. I mean, there are people who believe that though [Clinton] may have done the wrong thing, he paid a heavy price for it in terms of the impeachment trial and beyond.”

Clinton did not pay a heavy price. At the time, he was lionized for standing up to the vast right wing conspiracy. More recently he received a Medal of Freedom award from President Obama.

Also, Clinton “may have done the wrong thing.” May have?

In the leftist media’s hypocritical world of blatant double standards, lefties can literally do no wrong.
