WASHINGTON (AP) — The president's advisers are warning that if lawmakers won't work with the White House, the White House will go around them.

President Barack Obama makes his State of the Union address on Tuesday.

Top White House aides say Obama will try to work with Congress where it's possible.

But press secretary Jay Carney and senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer say the White House will take action with executive orders if needed.

On ABC's "This Week," Carney says the White House will "bypass Congress where necessary."

Pfeiffer tells "Fox News Sunday" that Obama, quote, "has a pen, and he has a phone, and he's going to use those."

Republican Sen. Rand Paul tells CNN's "State of the Union" that it sounds like a threat.

The Little Dicktator has been ignoring the Constitution for the past 5 years. He’s by-passed Congress more than all of his predecessors, combined. Why the hell would he stop now? Are Boehner, Cantor, McConnell or John Cornyn going to do anything to stop him?

I kind of f*cking doubt it.

How is “working with Congress when it’s possible” actually working with congress?

It is his job to legislate through Congress, like it is all Americans. We did not elect him dictator.

In a sane and just world impeachment hearings would be a top priority.

"A Republic, If You Can Keep It"
..wise (but forgotten) words, from one of the Greatest Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin.
we can only weep, for thoses whom have sacrificed all, for our country... only to be betrayed
by the Congressional Ldrs & pResident 0'ButtCrack.

other words, comes from another founding father (Thomas Jefferson) that comes to mind,
(iirc) "The Tree of Liberty, must (occasionally) be watered, by the blood of Patriots"

-— The Republican House controls the purse strings. Everything Obama does is with the GOP’s approval. -—

This is why the Tea Party has to take over the GOP.

And don't think the average American will throw the bums out. The average American only knows what the MSM reports. So the average American is quite aware of Justin Bieber's arrest, and that's about it.

At least some of us understand the reality of the perverted culture that now surrounds us.

That same MSM reporting with glee the growing shouts from the likes of Cuomo, deBlasio and Schumer that Conservatives 'have no place here'.

We have a dictatorship and a fascist movement that has people in it who have advocated the genocide of millions of us who could not be 're-educated'. We're watching an entire oligarchy impose it's new order by fiat and the supposed 'opposition' confounded and capitulating to tyranny.

And few call it tyranny. Not surprising since so many will no longer call sin what it is either.

“Obama would be well advised that that is an impeachable offense and Americans are sick of his imperialistic crap.”

As the Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton impeachments demonstrated, unless the President is convicted by the Senate, the act of impeachment is meaningless.

The current Speaker of the House has no stomach for disciplining cabinet officers and other officials, much less the President. Look at how Eric Holder, Kathleen Sebellius, Janet Napolitano, and Lois Lerner have defied Congress.

Even if the House impeached the President, there is no way a Democrat controlled Senate, with a number of Democrat voting Republican compromisers, will vote to convict. The Republicans in the Senate would not vote together convict Bill Clinton in the 1990’s. It is impossible to imagine the first black president being impeached and convicted, no matter what he does.

Or consign them to the ash heap of history like the Republicans did to the Whigs.

Congress has no balls.

The Egyptian military has more balls than our own. At least THEY saw a threat to their own country and took some action.

Just sayin’.

In other words bammy the petulant narcissist is going to get his way no matter what. What about that little thing called checks and balances? Or that paper called the US Constitution?

Why is bammy not wearing an orange jumpsuit for the rest of his life?

In the case of Clinton, impeachment was worse than meaningless. Sure, there is now a footnote about it in the history books.

But Clinton was able to portray himself as the poor victim of all those mean Republicans. So impeachment actually helped him with his base.

With Obama, it would be ten times worse. Obama would portray himself as the poor victim of all those mean WHITE Republicans. That assertion would stick.

Won’t happen. Republican elitists in the House are too busy fighting with conservatives.

Poor little Obama really wants and needs an "Enabling Act of 2014" in order to fundamentally change America.
