Billy boy was a grown married man with a young daughter. He was the President of the US. Monica was a stupid young woman. He is the one who should have had the sense to not have anything to do with her. She was a victim of her own stupidity but he was responsible for what happened.
To make matters worse they tried to get her to lie about the whole thing. Anyway making excuses for Billys behavior is a sicko.
This is just me, but I think Monica is lucky that Tripp exposed the whole thing, or Monica would be just another anonymous victim of the DC crime-world.
Adultery is bad, inexcusable, but to mess around with a powerful man is just asking to be killed. There are people who sincerely believe that the Kennedy family killed Marilyn and there are Kennedy mistresses who have ended up dead conveniently to the benefit of the Kennedy family.
He shouldn’t have messed with her, but if he was pressuring her, she should have quit the job and gotten herself out.
