They did at one time but I'm not sure what they are using now. We did some tests with pigs when these came out. They do what they say they do. The wound channel is a mass of liquefied gunk. There is no tissue or organ left to fix. There is no way to stop the bleeding. They leave a big nasty wound and depart 100% of the bullets energy into whatever is shot with them. They coined a new term, unsurvivable torso wound.
