On Tuesday evening, Fox contributor Erick Erickson responded to Greta Van Susteren‘s blog post calling him a “jerk” with a blog post of his own.
In a RedState post, Erickson gave thanks to Van Susteren for turning the country’s attention to “abortion lover” and Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis, by way of attacking him.
Van Susteren was incensed by several of Erickson’s tweets referring to Davis as “Abortion Barbie” and using condescending language towards the female lawmaker. “I don’t care how much you disagree or agree with Texas’ Wendy Davis, you have to agree that this guy, Erick Erickson, is a real jerk and is really lousy at being a spokesperson for his views,” she wrote.

Actually, Greta is usually pretty good. But she’s way off the mark on this one.

Apparently the Abortion Barbie moniker has legs and libs don’t like it.
Her fundraising scampaign letter omitted her abortion fillibuster.
Why ever would she be running away from that issue in Texas?

I have not caught her since they jumbled the time slots; but she was solid on Benghazi when I was hearing her. She is WAY off the rails on this one.
There was a good thread yesterday on the type of rhetoric that we should be using to delineate. Here’s a prime example of how to do it right from Erickson.
This is how we need to start talking. The left thrives when their insidious actions are censored.
She’s not dumb.. calculating? Yes.

Sorry greta but I do NOT have to agree that Erick is a jerk. I think he's spot on and the moniker "Abortion Barbie'" is a perfect fit for that ghoul running in Texas.
If a person who believes that abortion is killing a child (which it is) a person is perfectly proper in using inflammatory language of any kind. No different than stridently speaking out against the Holocaust in the forties.

I love Greta. She’s involved and caring about people yet she never forgets logic. On this one, I don’t agree with her; however, no one is perfect.
The left had no problem calling Sarah Palin “Caribou Barbie”.
So Wendy Davis supporters can pound sand. After all, inserting a catheter into herself to spout off for hours about her love for abortion is what catapulted Davis into the spotlight. And she does look like Barbie. An old Barbie.
