AMEN, well said: Santorum was an ACTIVIST Senator, he never believed in small government or minimal government, he believed in an activist government, the only difference was what he believed the government should be activist for. I believe government should be a referee, not a cheerleader for either side, Santorum needs to go away.

He also voted WITH THE DEMOCRATS on the Minimum Wage every single time it came up.

He's a good Christian, but a lousy conservative.

Well, he's not my first choice.

Or my second, third, or fourth.

But if he was somehow the nominee (very doubtful), I'd get behind him.

I just hope I don't have to.......

Not really. Sometimes the voters are liberals-leftists.

i would rather vote for Edwards over Santorium—Edwards may have learned something from his debauckle. We need new people to run—really run not just play with us—Hear this Trump! Hear this Sarah Palin! Maybe Santorium is trying for VP —thats a job he might be able to do. I think Perry would make a good VP.

Santorum is a very ambitious man who has done nothing but run for president for the last 4 years. He started two years before 2012 and the only reason he did well in the first primary was that he had targeted that state and done nothing but work it for nearly 2 years. He has actually accomplished nothing in his day job, however. But like Romney (who also ran before and now believes he might make another run), he wants it so bad he can taste it.

The GOP has a habit of feeling that if people have run a couple of times, they “deserve” the nomination. Look at McCain.

We need new blood. None of these people should be anywhere near the candidacy.

I like you, Rick. You are a nice guy. But please stay OUT! All you'll do is muddy up the water and help Chrispy Creme or JEB win!

If he winds up the nominee, you’ll be enjoying 4-8 years of Hillary.

Santorum is a Romney like phony a rino that actually dislikes conservatives, he is also an incredible loser, people forget that he got kicked out of the Senate in an election loss bigger then Christine O’Donnell’s, and he was the incumbent!

Well, Santorum had to win PA, he wasn’t going to do that without cowtowing to Unions at some level. Toomey will likely do the same thing over time. He got to ride in on the disgust with Spectre, that won’t be the case when he’s up for re-election.

National Parties are honestly destructive to the nation, and this ideological purity nonsense isn’t going to get anyone anywhere.

What can win an election in PA is not what will win an election in Texas, and vice versa... Its time folks grew up a bit and realize this.

With that said however, there was reason PA sent him packing ... they knew him. Sadly the rest of the country didn’t, they heard what he said and liked it, but didn’t really know what he did. So he enjoys popularity outside of PA while most in PA would send him to the shed in a heartbeat... There is a reason he dropped out before PA got another chance to vote on him, he would have been trounced in the republican primaries here.

Post 51 is accurate.

Santorum was truly devoted to Arlen Specter, his state rejects him, and something you don’t know, is that Santorum disliked Reagan and only became pro-life for his first political campaign (and admitted it).

That is one of the dumber comments I’ve ever seen.

Don’t talk silly crap, it adds nothing to the discussion.

You should ask the mods to delete your ignorant post.
