CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Well, listening to that excerpt from Ed Henry, you would think that's the campaign speech of someone running against Barack Obama. Obama is indicting the four years, the five years he's been president. He said the rich have done well, everybody else has stalled, inequality has increased. Well, the four years, the five years are his years.
Essentially, he's saying my job now is to undo what I have done in the five years of my presidency. It's hardly sort of a ringing call to arms. I'm sure they now tested all of these words, inequality, opportunity, all this stuff, to see which ones resonate with the focus groups, but I don't think it's going to help him in any way.
As for, you know, the agenda he has, if you heard what Robert Gibbs said, he's given up on being the great uniter, the charismatic president who would bring America together. And now he's simply trying to hang on for quite small achievements. Which I think in his own eyes means that he's a failure.

Obama thinks that you can increase wealth by artificially increasing the minimum wage and more government handouts instead of repealing job killing regulations.

Obama’s supported think money comes from the govt. that it grows on trees. Which it does until inflation catches up with the truth. It’s lall fun and games till then
Wouldn't that require a large audience listening to it? Even many of his die-hard Kool-Aid drinkers here in the south SF Bay Area have stopped their cheerleading for him. (Thank God for that - it's gotten more than a bit tiresome.)
He should forget about the speech and just go play some more golf. That way at least his game will improve and we get spared listening to him again.

I wish he would maybe he would be found in a frozen heap on the ninth green! No tears from me, that is for sure! I could finally enjoy a couple of homebrews without worrying about the next disaster he has been planning.
