With President Obama vowing to make 2014 a "year of action" by executive fiat, top conservatives are sounding the alarm.
Obama “has acted like the playground bully who when he can’t have everything he wants, he decides to take his ball and go home” says Heritage Foundation president Jim DeMint in a video address.
The former GOP senator from South Carolina, warned that “our union will be much weaker and even more divided if the President attempts to rule the country by itself.”
“President Obama warned that he has a pen and a phone—and that’s all he needs to rule from Washington,” DeMint said. “The White House said he ‘doesn’t think the American people would want him to limit himself’ to what Congress is doing.”
Meanwhile, congressional Republicans are pushing GOP leadership to focus on Obama's executive actions in the House.
Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) penned a letter on Tuesday to House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy asking them to ensure 2014 becomes a year where the House GOP conference focuses on Obama’s executive overreaches.

I was just going to say, the warning was to be followed by a strongly worded letter. The strongly worded letter is not even addressed to him. I am sure the Obungler is shaking in his boots. Not. It will be business as usual. He will continue to be a dictator, and the stupid, gutless, useless party will do nothing to stop him. I wonder if the reeducation camps are being built yet?
It just illustrates how weak and useless the Republican party is.
In his biography of Obama, titled “The Bridge,” David Remnick, New Yorker editor, quotes White House senior adviser and longtime Obama friend, Valerie Jarrett:
“I think Barack knew that he had God-given talents that were extraordinary. He knows exactly how smart he is. ... He knows how perceptive he is. He knows what a good reader of people he is. And he knows that he has the ability — the extraordinary, uncanny ability — to take a thousand different perspectives, digest them and make sense out of them, and I think that he has never really been challenged intellectually. ...
So what I sensed in him was not just a restless spirit but somebody with such extraordinary talents that had to be really taxed in order for him to be happy. ...He’s been bored to death his whole life. He’s just too talented to do what ordinary people do.”
All I can say is that it’s lucky for us that he’s so in love with himself. That just means that we don’t need to be.
I have often wondered just what a serious, in depth Psychological Evaluation would reveal about this individual. Abandoned by both of his parents and left in the care of Communist grandparents (who had some obvious issues of their own), while being “mentored” by a self admitted Pedophile had to have some impact on his psyche, don’t you think?
Twisted, deranged, dysfunctional-—all come to mind.
At the very least.
Pathological Liar with Sociopathic tendencies combined with extreme narcissism have to be part of the profile.
