I guess they might as well just go to whiffle ball and be done with the mans game. Ty Cobb and the Babe are rolling in their graves right about now.
Jus dum b.
I would think the weight and the way it sits would interefer with speed and accuracy.
You’d be worried about the speed of your movement and momentum throwing the helmet off, cocking it sideways, etc.
Nice try though.
Just go all the way and give the pitchers a catchers mask...or maybe bubble wrap their heads with a couple eye holes and a straw to breath though....
Yeah it needs to be a tight fitting cap like the ones they wear in games like jai alai.
But that would still leave the rest of their body vulnerable. The only sensible answer is to replace the pitcher with a pitching machine. And to avoid injury to batters, replace them with batting machines, and the remainder of the defensive players with giant nets on strung on poles.... /sarc/
Or like a cup....
LOL
One of libtards wet dreams is to make a risk free society....of course though government intervention....
That’s why we are literally in an avalanche of rules, regulations, mandates, policies....
Personal responsibility and consequences of bad decisions....are gladly covered by your local congress critter...who happen to be mostly lawyers...
