Islam allows true believers to execute those who they believe are less dedicated to Islam. Since the religion is the law and anybody can act as judge, jury and executioner, this death should be legal. The only way for it to be illegal is for somebody to prove they are a greater adherent to Islam and declare it a wrongful death.
