I meant last names, family names when I said surnames. Outside of Louisiana, nearly all African-Americans have English surnames, unless they changed to something African or Arabic.

I’m guessing that there are more black Rodneys than white, and that women possessing a fancy but misspelled given name are more likely black.

Probabilities based on observation, sometimes called stereotyping.

” unless they changed to something African or Arabic.” African and Arabic is like left hand, right hand. One would call Egypt, Libya, Morocco,Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, and others on the African Continent African.
