I think that Rand has cut some kind of political deal with McConnell,possibly with 2016 in mind. When Rand first came to DC, they could barely stand each other. Now, it’s like Rand is relying on McConnell as his mentor.
Actually after he won the nomination they seemed to hit it off right away.
