I don't know what the situation was like for your loved ones, nor what affect that would have on being able to observe the soul leaving the body.
I also don't know if any of Jahi's family were present at her death to witness the soul leaving the body, but I haven't read anything leading me to believe they were.
I apologize if I didn’t make it clear. I’ve had the unfortunate or fortunate depending on how you feel about life, responsibility of pulling the plug. In every case we gave it the best effort but the Doctors made it clear there wasn’t any hope. The Doctors aren’t ghouls who like killing people and I like to know the truth, not sugarcoated. So in one instance, we pulled the respirator and the person lived for several hours and then like a switch had been thrown, they and everything that made them unique was gone. I am continually amazed at the spark of life that God created and when it’s gone it’s gone. And my beliefs are that they are in a better place.
Same here. We fought with the doctors for months to make sure he was given a fighting chance. In the end, though, he was not kept alive by artificial means. We were with him when he passed on. There was no doubt that he was gone.
The case of Jahi is different. I can understand and sympathize with her family.
