Light arms supplied by the United States are flowing to "moderate" Syrian rebel factions in the south of the country and U.S. funding for months of further deliveries has been approved by Congress, according U.S. and European security officials.
The weapons, most of which are moving to non-Islamist Syrian rebels via Jordan, include a variety of small arms, as well as some more powerful weapons, such as anti-tank rockets.
The deliveries do not include weapons such as shoulder-launched surface-to-air missiles, known as MANPADs, which could shoot down military or civilian aircraft, the officials said. (Snip)

Intel Ops are always more quiet if they don’t require huge amounts of outside funding, so why not help knock off Syria with barely guarded muzziles laying around in Libya..?

John McCain's so-called friends in Syria, who he is caught on camera with, are the very same criminals who have been kidnapping and beheading innocent people. They are Al Qaeda murderers and these are McCain's friends, for whom he wants to bomb the innocent people in Syria.

My,,, I had never heard of the non-moslem faction challenging the Syrian government.
They weren’t stolen. That was ambassador Stevens job to funnel weapons to Syria through Turkey. And it blew up in their face. And that’s why no rescue mission came. Secret missions don’t get the instant response a normal embassy attack gets.
And now a decade after 911, we have a culturally moslem president, assisting Al Qeida, and flying airstrikes on their behalf.

There is no such thing as a moderate Syrian rebel.
The arms came through the Benghazi CIA station that was attacked.
I’ve always said we should send a rifle to everyone in Asia Minor. Give them weapons and without regard to who the bleep they are, just make sure EVERYONE gets at least one. Let them settle their centuries old grudges now and forever. If they’re killing each other they are not bothering us. We’ll know they have been successful when they knock off the Soddy royal family. By my count they are still 25 million short of thinning the herd to a civilizeable level. The Syrians are doing their part so far. They just need more weapons and ammo. The only mystery to me is why somebody thinks it has to be a secret?
