Light arms supplied by the United States are flowing to "moderate" Syrian rebel factions in the south of the country and U.S. funding for months of further deliveries has been approved by Congress, according U.S. and European security officials.
The weapons, most of which are moving to non-Islamist Syrian rebels via Jordan, include a variety of small arms, as well as some more powerful weapons, such as anti-tank rockets.
The deliveries do not include weapons such as shoulder-launched surface-to-air missiles, known as MANPADs, which could shoot down military or civilian aircraft, the officials said. (Snip)

And just yesterday on the Hill was a congressional hearing in which Clapper explained the rising strength of Al Queda and their franchises around the globe.
During that hearing they explained there are MANY westerners in Syria learning skills and becoming battle hardened with intentions of returning to Europe and AMERICA to carry out missions in the west. The ‘face’ of Al Queda is changing from the typical middle eastern profile...to one of a westerner.

I am going to be hard pressed when the next attack takes place on American soil to not be conspiratorial as we have only ourselves to blame for providing supplies and likely training to the very terrorists who will slaughter us on that day.
