Sen. Ted Cruz on Wednesday pushed Attorney General Eric Holder for answers about the investigation into the IRS, with the Texas Republican saying he finds what has transpired in the last eight months of the probe “astonishing.” Cruz called on Holder, who was appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, to address why so little had been done since the inspector general report concluded that the IRS had improperly targeted conservative groups, tea party groups, pro-Israel groups and pro-life groups.
“In the 280 days since that inspector general report, nobody has been indicted,” Cruz said. “Not a single person. In the 280 days since that inspector general report, it’s been publicly reported that no indictments are planned. Today in this hearing, you were unwilling to answer a question whether even a single victim of targeting has been interviewed.” And, Cruz said, “most astonishingly, it has now been publicly reported that the lead lawyer heading the investigation was, No. 1, appointed from the civil rights division, which has historically been the most politically charged division in the Dept. of Justice. And even more astonishingly, is a major Democratic donor and donor to President Obama.” “Did you know the lawyer in charge of this investigation was a major Obama donor?” Cruz asked, referring to the involvement of Justice Department’s trial lawyer Barbara Kay Bosserman in the probe. “The characterization of this lawyer as the lead lawyer on the case is not correct,” Holder said, adding that “I don’t know anything about the political activities of any of the people who are involved in this investigation.” Holder told the committee that he does not “have any basis to believe that the people who are engaged in this investigation are doing so in a way other than investigations are normally done.” “That is by looking at the facts, applying the law to those facts and reaching the appropriate conclusions,” he said. “I don’t have any basis to believe that anything other than that is occurring.”

Holder knows where all the skeletons are hidden in DC, since he's responsible for many of them!

Watched that video and I wish Cruz had asked the jerk what was more important in the hearing room than the matter they were there to accomplish. Holder has ALWAYS made a big production of looking around, down - anywhere except at the person questioning him! VERY OBVIOUS! He can’t help criticizing the way the questions are asked and nitpicking them either. He’s a real piece of work and I’ve been waiting since the Reno days for him to get what’s coming to him.
Let’s have a “Year of Action” by the US House of Representatives!

Why not start by naming Four Special Prosecuters? One for each of the Major Obama Scandals!
The Leftstream Media could put on TV their already written “I had no idea that Obama was so evil !” stories.
And FOX News could say “We told you so!”
Ponder this:
Egypt’s Morsi and our Democrat’s Obama have the same Muslim Brotherhood mentality, and thus both men are opposed to the Common Law basis of American Culture.
The American-based logic system falls on the deaf ears of both men.
Both men have a “Big Picture” mentality of destroying their existing societies in order to establish their version of the Muslim Brotherhood System of governance.
Their responses during and after the 2012 Benghazi Murders were the most revealing insights into their shared Muslim Brotherhood values.
Neither Morsi or Obama can be reasoned with by their countrymen. Their Muslim Brotherhood Mentality prevents them from doing so.
Any opposition to their plans is used by them to strengthen their conviction that their plans are correct.
Egypt has figured all this is out, when will America do the same?

a house filled with people rotting and dying from being
over medicated by someone who isn’t taking the stuff
themselves but who thinks they know best what to do
as long as someone else pays for it.
I’d say that about covers it.
