Because USPS gets its revenue from counter sales and other commercial streams, I have no problem with its continued operation — notwithstanding bailouts of course. It doesn’t need to privatize if given the autonomy it’s asking for.
I’m partial to USPS as far as the govt goes.
The smaller the government and the more done by the private sector the better. The government has proven it is unwilling to take the steps to run the postal service efficiently.
The congress won’t even let them stop Saturday delivery. The on’y way to dal with this kind of “business” operation is to take it away.
