Bias? What media bias? In its post-SOTU First Reading today, NBC News compares President Barack Obama to the injured war hero whom Obama lauded during last nights speech.
*** America has never come easy: Last nights speech also ended on an emotional and upbeat note when Obama recognized Army Ranger Cory Remsburg, who was almost killed in Afghanistan and continues to recuperate from a brain injury. My fellow Americans, men and women like Cory remind us that America has never come easy, the president said. Our freedom, our democracy, has never been easy. Sometimes we stumble, we make mistakes; we get frustrated or discouraged. But for more than 200 years, we have put those things aside and placed our collective shoulder to the wheel of progress. That story could also apply to Obama himself: Nothing in his seven years on the national political stage (2007-2014) has come easy. The 2008 race for the Democratic nomination. Even that general election. The health-care law. The re-election campaign. And now the presidents current situation in which he finds himself bloodied and bruised after the botched health-care rollout. Perseverance is an important quality for any president. Bill Clinton was usually able to talk his way out of sticky situations. But Obamas M.O. is to grind it out. That, more than anything else, was the message he wanted to send last night both he and the country are grinding it out.
Emphasis added.
Obamas M.O. is not to grind it out. His M.O. is to lie first, lie second, lie third, and force policies that most Americans dont want. His M.O. is to wage policy wars under the radar and to constantly misrepresent his opposition while presenting his extreme policies in the most favorable light possible. His M.O. is to erect vast armies of straw men and then burn them down. His M.O. is when the going gets tough for him in Washington, he gets going on the road, where he can speak before adoring audiences of hand-picked supporters.
For Obama, everything prior to the presidency has come easy. Thats part of his problem. He has never had to sacrifice. He has always been able to charm his way through life, taking advantage of his dual racial make-up to gain credibility or sympathy, whatever works for him at the moment. He wrote two autobiographies before he had actually done anything, and was paid handsomely for it. He cleared the field in his early political runs, so he would not have to face real opposition. The media and the Democratic Party fell in love with him the minute he delivered the 2004 DNC keynote address, paving an easy way to the presidency. He never achieved anything of note as a legislator, either in Illinois or in the US Senate. He faced two GOP nominees who failed to inspire the party base, and the first, McCain, failed even to run a real race against him. Its questionable whether Mitt Romneys heart was really ever in his second run for the White House.
Obama has always had it easy. NBCs bias has been obvious for years now, but after this SOTU reaction, it can no longer be denied at all. The FEC should look into NBC as an in-kind donor to Obamas and the Democrats campaigns.
“America has never come easy”
Such an inept turn of phrase must have been intentional — but why?
No American War Hero or patriot would even
THINK of arming al Qaeda with MANPADs.
And to do it while having al Qaeda/MB
execute an Ambassador is nothing but treason.
Why would anybody name his daughter “Chuck”?
Obama the brain injured....
I would love to know why they think Obama is so great. Are they really that blind?
Dufuss still calling us a democracy.
Really wish the gops would call him out on that.
That’s where Miley Cyrus learned how to twerk. She watched Chuck Todd at an Obama press gig.
Unbelievable! It’s all about him! Everything is always about him! smh
Totally sick to compare that weasel in office to that brave hero.
I can make that same comparison.
He’s not quite as valuable as John Kerry.
Totally sick to compare that weasel in office to that brave hero.
That was the whole purpose of using this poor war vet as a prop. It was always to compare this guy’s fight to the same fight of Obama. This is exactly why this fine young man was invited to this sickening spectacle. Chuck Todd was just emanating the real purpose of the invite to the event.
Nauseating really.

I wouldn't compare him to the worst goldbricking sham artist I knew in the Army. At least that puke had the stones to join the service!
Any war injuries Obama got would be to his backside!
Well, just plop him down in the middle of the Syrian conflict to earn his Nobel Peace Prize and he just might actually become one.
