I saw Congresswoman McMorris Rogers' response live and wasn't particularly impressed. It was too long on her personal life story and too short on hard policy differences with Obama. The omissions that you mentioned, though, might be excused by the tight time restrictions on her.
Incidentally, there was an alternative Republican response by Sen. Mike Lee, which was more to the point.
F the GOP.
Yes, connect the dots.
Benghazi, Syria, Turkey, Egypt.
Evidence on Mohamed Mursis direct link to terror acts in Egypt (like lawless Obama)

Obama selected Morsi and pushed him into the Presidency of Egypt. Must have also tutored him in how to run a country. Note in the above article, he totally exceeded his constitutional authority repeatedly, not only released but pardoned known Terrorists, made laws up with the stroke of the pen.
When Morsi was removed by public demonstration and threat of civil war, then General Sissi and the military stepped in to avoid the war. Obama then cut off all aid to Egypt and threatened them to force them to put Morsi back in power. (Like he did in Honduras)
Incredible are the similarities between Obama and Morsi in Egpyt.
I think the usual milquetoast suckiness of the official “Republican response” is the reason that whatever tea party group is started doing a separate one.

I know, but Lee, Cruz, et al, are NOT the GOP anymore...
If the House pubbies wanted a really good female speaker who’d take it to the Mahdi, they’d have chosen Marsha Blackburn (TN) who successfully led the patriotic resistance to a state income tax that was proposed by RINO gov. SUNDWUIST.
